If you’re ready to get acquainted with Europe’s most informative and education-loving jazz festival, please step this way. Just in case you’re wondering why we said that - we won’t keep you in suspense - the thing that distinguishes this festival from others in its genre is that the visiting top musicians provide training for their young colleagues who are right at the start of their careers in Turkey.  Even more, two successful young musicians from the festival workshops, win a bursary for the Sienna Summer Jazz Festival Master Classes in Italy. This year, the Izmir European Jazz Festival will receive the support of Izmir Foundation for Culture, Arts and Education as its brings Europe’s top jazz artists to Izmir jazz lovers for the twenty-third time. In addition, the festival’s official poster is chosen from designs entered into the ‘Jazz Poster Contest’. In other words, Izmir Jazz Festival stands out as an event that truly stands by art and artists.
